Italian Dolomites & Bologna

After teaching a course in Estonia I had couple weeks before meeting my wife for the remainder of our 2023 summer travels. So, I decided on some hiking in the Dolomites followed by a few days of good eating in Bologna. I have been to the Dolomites on a couple previous trips but wanted to take more time to get in some quality hikes. And, of course, after burning all of those calories I needed to finish the trip with some great food and gelato in Bologna.
Ortisei
I have had the opportunity to spend a significant amount of time in Estonia and Finland over the past few years including a one-year Fulbright Scholar appointment in Estonia. My colleague Paul Umbach also lead a study abroad to these two countries in May of 2018 (see brochure here).
